For nearly 40 years, my mom worked as a nurse and the physical demands of her job took a toll on her body. After a failed back surgery, she was left in excruciating pain. Even the simple act of moving from a chair to the bathroom became an overwhelming challenge.

Despite holding advanced degrees in Eastern Medicine and specializing in pain, my hands-on treatments weren’t enough to help her. I did find a promising herbal pain cream that I combined with a CBD gel and together, as confirmed by Mom, the concoction provided her with the most relief she had ever experienced.

The imperfect, but effective solution got exponentially harder when the herbal pain cream company closed leaving me without a key formula in my “homemade” remedy. I set to work, recreating and improving that initial formula.

Unfortunately, before my work was completed, my mom passed away from COVID. I was devastated.

Though I couldn’t make it in time for her, I didn’t give up. I was determined to continue, knowing that if I couldn’t make it for her, I could make it for others in pain. She would want that.
